Iran children fest unveils animation winners

Int’l Film Festival for Children and Youth in Iran has unveiled winners of international animated films.

The 30th Int’l Film Festival for Children and Youth in the historic Iranian city of Isfahan has announced winners in international animated film section of the event.

According to the official website of the fest, award-winning titles and personalities were named.

Diploma of Honor for Best Animated Short went to ‘My Grandfather Was a Cherry Tree’ produced by Pavel Smirnov.

The Special Jury award for Best Animated Short was presented to director Amir Houshang Moein for “Orange Tree”.

Meanwhile, Golden Butterfly for Best Animated Short and Best Animated Feature went to ‘One Moment’ and ‘Chieri and Cherry’, respectively.

The Golden Butterfly was granted producers of “Long Way North", Ron Dyens, Claus Toksvig Kjaer and Henri Magalon.

The latest edition of the event came to an end on Thursday, July 6.
